Diamond ring sawing is a unique type of sawing that utilises diamond-tipped ring saws to cut through many construction materials such as concrete, brick and blockwork.

Diamond ring saws are ideal for cutting concrete up to depths of 260mm. This extra cutting depth makes diamond ring saws perfect for cutting concrete walls and double-skin brick walls. This is possible since the saw blade drive comprises of rollers fitted to the rear of the blade near the handle opposed to the middle of the blade like most traditional cutters, thereby utilising the entire blade which differs from central blade driven systems.
Before sawing begins, the diamond ring saw would be fitted with a diamond blade that is suitable to cut the material specific to the contract requirements. The material being cut needs to be marked to guide the saw operator since ring saws are hand-held, although they can be fitted with a guide rail to improve accuracy.
